MX Linux 19.2 Edition Available with KDE Desktop

Presented new edition of the distribution MX Linux 19.2, which comes with the KDE desktop (main edition ships with Xfce). This is the first official KDE desktop build in the MX/antiX family since the MEPIS project was phased out in 2013. Recall that the MX Linux distribution was created as a result of the joint work of communities formed around projects of projects antiX ΠΈ mepis. The release is based on the Debian package base with enhancements from the antiX project and numerous native applications that make it easy to configure and install software. For loading available 64-bit assembly, 2.1 GB (x86_64) in size.

The assembly includes typical MX utilities, antiX-live-usb-system and support for working with snapshots. The base package includes KDE Plasma 5.14.5, GIMP 2.10.12,

MX AHS firmware set, Linux kernel 5.6, Firefox 79,
