During the Xbox Games Showcase online show, GSC Game World presented the first trailer for STALKER 2. The video focuses on recognizable elements of the franchise, that is, it shows an eerie atmosphere, ominous locations, anomalies and stalkers around the campfire.
The video begins with a demonstration of the dead town of Pripyat, namely the famous Ferris wheel and skyscrapers in the background. Then some kind of underground tunnel appears in the frame, illuminated by the red lights of the backup lighting system. Then the audience is again transferred to the surface and shown a variety of city locations.
In the middle of the video, GSC Game World demonstrated the effect of anomalies and checking for their presence with a bolt - another feature of the STALKER franchise
And towards the end, stalkers and some kind of laboratory where strange experiments are being carried out appeared on the screen. Inside you can see capsules that contain living organisms that look like mutated human hearts. Fans of the franchise should especially be pleased with the moment in the trailer showing the stalkers gathered around the fire.
The last frames of the video were dedicated to a lone traveler standing in the middle of the forest. Apparently, it is he who will become the main character of the upcoming sequel.
