Ruselectronics holding, part of the Rostec State Corporation, presented an advanced unmanned aerial vehicle called the Corsair.
The drone is designed for all-weather aerial reconnaissance, patrol and observation flights, as well as for aerial photography.
The design of the drone uses innovative engineering solutions that provide it with advantages in terms of maneuverability, altitude and flight range.
In particular, the Corsair can fly at an altitude of more than 5000 meters. This makes it beyond the reach of small arms and many types of man-portable air defense systems.
Another advantage of the drone is its long battery life. "Corsair" is able to stay in the air for up to eight hours.
The wingspan of the drone is 6,5 meters, the length of the fuselage is 4,2 meters. The drone weighs approximately 200 kilograms.
"Corsair" can be used for both military and civilian purposes. In particular, the device can monitor the environment, control the situation on roads, monitor infrastructure facilities, search for people in emergency situations, etc.
