In the middle of last month, Sakurai also allowedthat due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the creation of the second subscription of fighters may be delayed: the developer simply cannot meet the necessary people.

The new set will include six fighters instead of five. The first of these will be one of the characters ARMS. Which one, in Nintendo not specified yet, but they promise to reveal the identity of the hero in June.

The first subscription included five fighters: protagonists 5 person, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age and Fire Emblem: Three Houses, as well as Banjo and Kazooie from Banjo-Kazooie and Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was released in December 2018 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Formerly Sakurai confirmedthat content support for the game will come to an end with the release of the second subscription.
