DreamHack Winter 2019 Championship Organizers removed from competing two players in Fortnite for cheating. They were convicted of contractual actions during the match.

The evidence was posted by NRG player Benjy David Fish. He noticed how the participants of the tournament ambushed the esportsman from Luminosity Gaming. When he came out of hiding, they killed him. While waiting, they sat opposite each other.

According to the rules, it is forbidden to team up and act together in Fortnite solo tournaments. For such actions, a number of players were suspended from the Fortnite World Cup.

Dreamhack Winter 2019 takes place in the Swedish city of JΓΆnkΓΆping. The Fortnite Championship has a $250 prize pool and ends on December 1st.
