Demons attacked the settlement. A young ninja, eager to leave his village to explore the world, survives an attack - the Western Hero repulsed the attack, as it was meant to be. The Messenger initially possesses a technique called "Clouds", which allows him to perform an additional mid-air jump after attacking an enemy or object.
