The video is a compilation of various moments from Ovechkin’s career: selected episodes are even reflected in the game. The developers probably recreated some of the athlete's movements in NHL 21. The visual is accompanied by comments from the hockey player about his passion for the game.

Pre-order of the project is already available in PS Store и Microsoft Store. On PS4, the standard edition will cost 4899 rubles, and on Xbox One - $59,99. Buyers of the advanced and full editions will have access to the simulator three days earlier than owners of the basic version.

At the end of July Electronic Arts reported about the refusal to develop an improved edition of the simulator for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The company explained this by “the desire to focus on introducing new features instead of wasting resources on porting the game to a new generation of consoles.” Despite this, the game will be available on future consoles thanks to backward compatibility.
