EK Water Blocks has introduced a new full coverage water block called the EK-AC Radeon RX 5700 +XT D-RGB. As you might guess from the name, the new product is designed for Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT video cards, or rather for models based on reference design printed circuit boards.
The novelty is part of the Fluid Gaming series, which includes relatively low cost components for LSS. That is why the base of the EK-AC Radeon RX 5700 +XT D-RGB water block is not made of the usual copper, but of cheaper aluminum. As befits a full coverage water block, the base of the novelty will directly contact the Navi GPU, GDDR6 memory chips and power elements of the power subsystem.
The upper part of the water block is made of transparent acrylic and can completely cover the PCB of the video card. It also houses the LEDs that give the EK-AC Radeon RX 5700 +XT D-RGB customizable addressable RGB backlighting. You can control the backlight using a motherboard that has a connector for connecting LED strips.
According to EK Water Blocks, the EK-AC Radeon RX 5700 +XT D-RGB water block allows you to overclock the Radeon RX 5700 (XT) to maximum frequencies, which can provide a performance increase of up to 20%. The EK-AC Radeon RX 5700 +XT D-RGB will be available at the EK Water Blocks store starting October 23rd for β¬110.
