Team Reptile has announced that they will be releasing Megabyte Punch on the Nintendo Switch on May 8th. The game was previously released on PC in October 2013. The Nintendo Switch version will receive two exclusive levels that are not available in the PC version.
Megabyte Punch is a beat 'em up with platforming elements. The game takes place in a computer universe where you must protect the Heart-Core of your village. The Valk Empire and the dreaded Hoteps are attacking the locals, and it's up to you to deal with the threats across six levels and defeat the bosses.
As you progress, you get from other creatures their parts, which have their own powers and bonuses. For example, weapon hands give the ability to shoot, and powerful hips give a devastating pelvic thrust attack.
Megabyte Punch supports cooperative play for up to four players. Using the abilities of a character that you have assembled from spare parts, you can also fight with friends in a destructible arena or participate in a tournament.
