Indie developer Gwen Frey is working on a puzzle game called Kine on her own. βI was a struggling indie developer passionate about making a project,β she said on Twitter. β I was going to sell the rights to a publisher to hire artists and finish my game properly. But I didn't because the exclusive deal with Epic saved me."
Gwen Frey's response is related to a comment by Re-Logic VP Whitney Spinks, who tweeted: "No Re-Logic game will ever be an Epic Games Store exclusive. No amount of money is enough for us to sell our souls." Recall that the studio released Terraria.
