Electronic Arts and Ghost Games have announced Need for Speed Heat, a continuation of the famous racing series. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 8th.
Need for Speed Heat will offer both legal daytime and illegal nighttime car racing. The game takes place in Palm City. During the day, there is a sanctioned tournament called Speedhunters Showdown, where you can earn money to modify and improve your cars. At night, street racing earns you reputation and gives you access to events and the best parts.
The publisher has already opened for the standard and deluxe editions of Need for Speed Heat. The bonus for pre-ordering the latter includes access to the KS Edition Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X as a starting car, three additional KS Edition cars (BMW i8 Coupe KS Edition, Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe KS Edition and Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport KS Edition - will be unlocked as you progress ), four exclusive costumes and bonuses to reputation and money (+5%). For pre-ordering the standard edition, buyers will receive only the KS Edition Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X starter car as a bonus.
EA Access and Origin Access Basic subscribers will have trial access to the game starting November 5th. They will be able to spend 10 hours in Need for Speed Heat before the official release. At the same time, Origin Access Premier members will have full access to the project without restrictions.
A full demonstration of Need for Speed Heat will take place as part of Gamescom 2019. The exhibition will be held from August 20 to 24.
