On the eve of the next exhibition Embedded World 2020, I decided to look at the list of companies from Russia. After filtering the list of participants by country of origin, I was pleasantly surprised. The official website of the exhibition issued a list of as many as 27 companies!!! For comparison: there are 22 companies from Italy, 34 from France, and 10 from India.
What could this mean, where do so many domestic hardware and software manufacturers present their products on the international market?
Maybe this:
- an omen of the revival of the Russian electronics industry?
- a consequence of the policy of "import substitution"?
- reaction to the adopted strategy for the development of the electronic industry of the Russian Federation?
- the result of the work of the association of developers and manufacturers of electronics (ARPE)?
- the result of the work of the Moscow export center?
- the result of the work of Skolkovo?
- startups looking for investors?
- a consequence of the lack of customers in the domestic market?
- the result of competition with the state. corporations?
The answer is unknown to me, I will be glad to comments from readers about this phenomenon.
