Spanish PlayStation Talents Awards VII Edition winner A Tale of Paper is coming to PlayStation 4 in late 2020, Open House Games has announced. The game is described as an emotional adventure for a paper boy named Line, who uses the power of origami to fulfill his creator's dreams.
βThe slow and deep gameplay of Tale of Paper is what makes it special,β said the Open House Games team. βWe're mixing puzzles and platforming, but also adding some suspense and a little bit of walking simulation elements. It's also worth noting that this is not a XNUMXD platformer. The camera is on the side, but players can move around the world in any direction.β
Instead of boosters, Line will use origami to overcome obstacles. The team added: βLine must use all of his abilities to complete each level. But be careful, because each shape only allows him to perform one action. As a frog, Line can jump higher, but he cannot walk or run. We wanted to convey the fragility of the hero (and his ability to overcome obstacles) through this idea, combined with thoughtful level design and enemies called Rumbas.
A Tale of Paper is also coming to PC.
