Independent film studio Epic Pictures plans to launch a new distribution platform for game "teasers" created by indie developers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Dread X Collection will include ten interactive trailers focusing on creations from developers impacted by COVID-19.
Teams from Snowrunner Games, Mayelyk, Lovely Hellplace, Torple Dook, Strange Scaffold, Oddbreeze and Dusk creator David Szymanski took part in the implementation of the idea. Developers are given a week to decide on the game and present it in the form of an interactive trailer.
The list of games includes a card RPG; shooter from the creator of Dusk; and a 1979 Tiger Electronics handheld console-style game. The rest of the projects in the collection will be faithful to the horror genre that PT belongs to.

Epic Pictures plans to make the collection available for $7 later this month on Steam, itch.io, and the Humble Bundle, with a possible console release in the future.
