Speaking to French news site Allocine about his career and future aspirations, Gans said it was time to make a new Silent Hill film, and revealed that he had teamed up with Victor Hadida again on both projects. It looks like the film will be about a cult, as Hans says that Silent Hill will always be based on the atmosphere of a small American town "ravaged by Puritanism."

In turn, Project Zero will be filmed in the series' native Japan, as Hans wants to maintain the Japanese haunted house atmosphere that characterizes the games.

The first of the two Silent Hill films, despite some problems, was a surprisingly good adaptation of the game, not least thanks to the atmospheric sound of composer Akira Yamaoka's music from the game series and the appearance of iconic monsters. However, its successor, Silent Hill Revelation, was considered by many to be a pointless disaster.

By the way, Konami last week noted the, which can't tell you anything about the Silent Hill games, rumored, currently in development, but is listening to player feedback and is considering the possibility of releasing the next part.
