EVGA has introduced two new models of the GeForce RTX 2070 Super graphics card, which are part of the new Ultra + series and feature faster memory. Due to this, according to the manufacturer, new items are able to provide even higher performance in modern games.
The GeForce RTX 2070 Super XC Ultra+ and GeForce RTX 2070 Super FTW3 Ultra+ graphics cards each have 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory with a 256-bit bus and an effective frequency of 15,5 GHz. This is almost 11% higher than the standard frequency of 14 GHz. As a result, the memory bandwidth has been increased from 448 to 496 GB / s.
Otherwise, the new items are no different from the models of the Ultra series. The GeForce RTX 2070 Super XC Ultra+ graphics card is equipped with an iCX2 cooling system that is almost three expansion slots high with two radiators, six heat pipes and two fans. The GPU frequency reaches 1800 MHz in Boost mode. The cost of new items in the EVGA brand store is $570.
In turn, the GeForce RTX 2070 Super FTW3 Ultra + model is equipped with an even more massive version of the iCX2 cooling system, which also has two radiators and six heat pipes, but has three fans at once. It also did not do without factory overclocking - the GPU frequency in Boost mode reaches 1815 MHz. And the cost of this novelty in the EVGA store is $600.
