Samsung Galaxy Note 10 phablet tipped for 50-watt fast charging

The fast charging function relies on any modern flagship smartphone, so now manufacturers are competing not in its availability, but in power and, accordingly, speed. Samsung products do not yet shine against the background of competitors - the most productive in terms of replenishing the energy reserve in its lineup are the Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy A70, which support 25-watt power adapters. The "simple" versions of the Galaxy S10 got slower 15-watt solutions. In comparison, the Huawei P30 Pro supports wired chargers up to 40W. However, by the end of summer or the beginning of autumn of this year, the situation may change.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 phablet tipped for 50-watt fast charging

According to Twitter blogger Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the Galaxy Note 10 phablet, which will be announced in the second half of 2019, will receive over 25W fast wired charging. He did not give an exact figure, but other rumors say that we can talk about 50-watt technology. True, this is no longer a record - a similar indicator is demonstrated by the development of the Chinese company Oppo called SuperVOOC Flash Charge. Thanks to her, the battery of Oppo Find X, which entered the market last summer, is charged from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes.

In addition, even a 50-watt charge after some time may no longer be considered fast. A little over a month ago, it became known about Xiaomi's plans to release smartphones compatible with 100-watt power adapters. The company called its technology Super Charge Turbo, according to preliminary data, its support should appear in Mi Mix 4 or Mi 10.
