She posted screenshots showing the Chats button. Note that the messenger separated from the main Facebook client back in 2011, in 2014 it was completely removed from there. Now, after 5 years, the developers want to combine applications again.
Thus, if there are changes, then pressing the Messenger button in the Facebook application will lead to the Chats section, and not to the program. However, some features may remain in Messenger. In particular, these are calls and exchange of media files. And in the main Facebook application, you can only chat.
At the same time, the application will exist for an audience that is separate from Facebook, so it will have a different design. Judging by the data of Jane Manchun Wong, the program will receive a white design color, that is, in fact, nothing fundamentally will change.
