A fan discovered that Death Stranding's release date has been in everyone's minds since E3 2016

A user of the social network Twitter under the nickname GermanStrands discovered that the release date Death Stranding has been on everyone's mind since E3 2016. According to a fan, the release date is encrypted in the logo from the trailer dedicated to the announcement of Hideo Kojima's project. No one from Kojima Productions or Sony has officially confirmed GermanStrands’ assumption, but such coincidences are hardly possible.

A fan noticed that the logo above has eight threads, symbolizing connections. They fall to the ground and intersect with the eleven letters from the game's title. According to GermanStrands, 2019 is the year of the fish and is hinted at by the scattered bodies of dead sea life. Although it is unknown which calendar the fan was using, since he did not provide such information.

Hideo Kojima is known in the gaming community as a big fan of riddles and ciphers. He could very well have left such a message in the Death Stranding trailer. And earlier in 2019, game designer claimed, which the team is reworking to release the game within the specified time frame. Perhaps one of the reasons for the rush was the desire to meet the date encrypted in the E3 2016 trailer.

Death Stranding will be released on November 8, 2019 on PS4, and in the summer of 2020 will appear on PC.
