Firefox for Windows 10 ARM enters beta testing

As expected, the browser will move from beta testing to release in the next two months, that is, in early summer, users will be able to use it.

Note that such laptops are characterized by low power consumption, which is a consequence of the use of the processor on the ARM architecture. As Chuck Harmston, Mozilla's senior product manager for the Firefox ARM project, stated, the main goal of developers is to minimize the power consumption of the browser in all aspects. The company does not provide any comparative indicators, therefore it is difficult to assess how much the ARM version of the browser is superior to x86 and x86-64 builds.

It's not yet clear how Firefox for ARM works, but it's possible that it's running native code rather than x86 emulation, which should drastically improve its performance.
