This can be judged by the released teaser image, which shows the box of the alleged flagship. It is possible that tomorrow the date of the official presentation will be announced, since the company has previously made similar moves to increase the level of interest in the new device.
Some time ago, the Meizu 16S device was seen in the database of the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA). The device received from the developers a Super AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6,2 inches and a resolution of 2232 Γ 1080 pixels (Full HD +). The front camera of the smartphone, located at the top of the front side, is based on a 20-megapixel sensor. The main camera is located on the back surface and is a combination of 48 MP and 20 MP sensors, which are complemented by an LED flash.
The hardware component of the device is built around an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip. The configuration is complemented by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and a built-in storage of 128 or 256 GB. Autonomous operation is provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3540 mAh. To replenish energy, it is proposed to use the USB Type-C interface.
The hardware components are controlled using the Android 9.0 (Pie) software platform with the proprietary Flyme OS interface. It is expected that the retail price of the base model will be about $450.
