The State Corporation Roskosmos has published a series of photographs showing preparations for the launch of the Progress MS-11 transport cargo spacecraft.
It is reported that on March 20 and 21, work on refueling the vehicle with fuel components and compressed gases was successfully completed. The ship was delivered to the assembly and test building and installed on the slipway for final preparation operations.
The spacecraft will be launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome using a Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle. The launch should take place in less than two weeks - April 4th.
The Progress MS-11 spacecraft is to deliver to the International Space Station (ISS) fuel, water and other cargoes that are necessary for the operation of the orbital complex.
It should be noted that two more launches of devices of the Progress MS series are planned for the current year. So, on July 31, the Progress MS-12 spacecraft should be launched, and the Progress MS-13 "truck" will fly into orbit at the end of the year - December 20.
In total, this year seven Russian spacecraft (including four Soyuz MS) will go to the International Space Station.
