The Hubble Space Telescope (NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope) has transmitted to Earth another image of the expanse of the universe: this time, a galaxy with the code designation NGC 3384 is captured.

The named formation is located at a distance of approximately 35 million light years from us. The object is located in the constellation Leo - this is the zodiac constellation of the northern hemisphere of the sky, lying between Cancer and Virgo.

NGC 3384 is an elliptical galaxy. Structures of this type are built from red and yellow giants, red and yellow dwarfs, and a certain number of stars of not very high luminosity.

The structure of NGC 3384 is clearly visible in the presented photograph. The galaxy has a pronounced elongated shape. In this case, the brightness decreases from the center to the edges.

We add that the galaxy NGC 3384 was discovered by the famous British astronomer of German origin William Herschel back in 1784.
