Sony has announced the a7R IV (Alpha 7R IV) interchangeable lens mirrorless camera, which will be available in September this year.
Sony says the a7R IV is a new milestone in the development of mirrorless cameras. The device received a full-frame (35,8 Γ 23,8 mm) BSI-CMOS sensor with 61 million effective pixels. The high-performance Bionz X processor is responsible for data processing.
The camera can form images with a resolution of up to 9504 Γ 6336 dots. Supports 4K (3840 Γ 2160 pixels) video recording at 30p, 25p, and 24p, and Full HD (1920 Γ 1080 pixels) at 120p, 60p, 30p, 25p, and 24p.
The novelty is capable of sequential shooting at a speed of 10 frames per second. Implemented APS-C Crop Mode with the ability to obtain images with a resolution of 26,2 million pixels.
The device has a built-in 5-axis image stabilization system. Hybrid autofocus is enabled (567 phase points, 425 contrast points), covering 74% of the frame area.
The camera supports Sony E-mount lenses. ISO sensitivity is ISO 100-32000, expandable to ISO 50-102800. The shutter speed range extends from 1/8000 to 30 s.
The camera received a 3-inch display with resizable position and support for touch control, as well as an electronic viewfinder with 100 percent frame coverage. There are two slots for memory cards SD / SDHC / SDXC, wireless adapters Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1, NFC module, micro-HDMI interface and USB Type-C port. Dimensions are 129 Γ 96 Γ 78 mm, weight - 665 grams.
The Sony a7R IV can be purchased for $3500.
