FreeRTOS is an open source real-time operating system for microcontrollers. LTS releases offer more stable releases and currently the FreeRTOS 202012.00 LTS release applies to the FreeRTOS core and IoT libraries - FreeRTOS + TCP, coreMQTT, coreHTTP, corePKCS11, coreJSON and AWS IoT Device Shadow.
Amazon will provide security updates and critical bug fixes for all of these libraries until at least December 31, 2022, and for version 202312 until December 2025.
