A few weeks ago on studio Frictional Games (Amnesia: The Dark Descent, ), which had been dormant for four years, a pulsating neuron appeared. The object then grew and turned into something similar to a cell. And now it has undergone another change, launching an alternate reality game (ARG).
Apparently, the cell is a human embryo. User Foxnull on I also noticed that the selection of social media channel icons now includes an eye icon. Clicking on it doesn't do anything, but if you hover over it you'll see part of the YouTube link. It leads to the video below:
The video is an old recording of some stones, which depicts an unknown symbol drawn in blue chalk. The description indicates that this is a videotape dated February 16, 1983, from a private collection. “Noted Shetpe, KSSR,” it says at the end. KSSR is an abbreviation for the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, now the Republic of Kazakhstan. Shetpe is a village in Kazakhstan.
Frictional Games also hid a second link on the site that leads to the next YouTube video above. There is nothing in it except frightening sounds. But the title of the video suggests a certain experiment that was considered “partially successful.” The description of the video confirms this. Someone has been experimenting on an artifact known as the Triple Crown, but no further details are available.
For now we can only guess what it is. And wait for the official announcement.
