Skywind developers brought to gamescom 2019 an 11-minute gameplay demo of Skywind, a remake of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind powered by the Skyrim engine. The recording appeared on the YouTube channel of the authors.
In the video, the developers showed the passage of one of the quests of the Morag Tong. The main character went to kill the bandit Sarayn Sadus. Fans will be able to see a giant map, reworked wastelands of TES III: Morrowind, monsters, as well as how the character fights using a spear and a bow.
In the description of the video, the authors indicated that they did not show levitation, climbing and new dungeons, because they wanted to present a polished gameplay. They also promised to release more details about the game in the next few months.
Skywind does not currently have a specific release date, but it is known that the project will be compatible with Skyrim Special Edition.
