Gamescom organizers have announced that the COVID-19 pandemic has not yet affected plans to hold the event in August 2020.
Major esports and gaming events have been canceled due to the coronavirus. . But the organizers of the exhibition released an official statement saying that August is still far away and it is too early to worry.

Preparations for gamescom 2020 continue as planned for a specific date. In the event that gamescom is postponed or cancelled, all ticket purchases from the official store will be refunded.
