GCLI 2.6.0

GCLI 2.6.0

On January 4, after more than five months of development, version 2.6.0 of the console utility was released GCLI, written in C and distributed under the BSD-2 license. The utility is designed to interact with the API of several popular Git project hosting services and allows you to create, view and interact with issues, merge requests and labels and comments to them; check the status of CI and pipelines, and much more.
And, unlike GitHub CLI, GCLI supports not only the GitHub API, but also the GitLab, Gitea, and experimentally Bugzilla APIs.

List of changes:

  • The pulls subcommand now has a checkout action that runs git checkout on a given pull request (GitHub and GitLab only).
  • The pulls create subcommand now has a -R option, allowing reviewers to be specified directly when creating a pull request. Also, gcli now prompts for reviewers when creating a pull request interactively.
  • The interactive status subcommand has been updated to support merge requests.
  • Other improvements and bug fixes.
