As usual, there are several gradations for contributors. For $500, you can become an investor in the project and receive part of the proceeds from the sale of the game. There are also six different bundles open, which can be purchased for between $50 and $1000. You can find out more about this at campaign page.

The development of Homeworld 3 will be led by Rob Cunningham, who was the art director of the first game. The composer of the project will still be Paul Ruskay. According to the description, the developers plan to continue the story of the second part. They will tell about the return of the Kushans, who have found an ancient artifact and are now trying to reclaim what once belonged to them. It is also planned to seriously improve the multiplayer.

So far, the project is in its infancy. At the time of writing, the studio has raised over $370. The fundraiser will continue for another 29 days. A release date for Homeworld 3 has yet to be revealed.

The first Homeworld was released in 1999 on PC to positive reviews from critics. In February 2015, Gearbox released reissue of the first two partswhich was also warmly received.
