NVIDIA this month should introduce the youngest video card of the Turing generation - the GeForce GTX 1650. And now, thanks to the VideoCardz resource, it has become known exactly when this new product will be presented. A well-known source of leaks with the pseudonym Tum Apisak published some data regarding the performance of new items.
So, according to the latest data, NVIDIA will introduce the GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card in three weeks, on April 22. On the same day, probably, new graphics accelerators will go on sale, and tests and reviews of various versions of the new video card from NVIDIA's AIB partners will be published on the Web. According to preliminary data, the novelty will cost $179.
The source reports that in addition to the GeForce GTX 1650, its improved version of the GeForce GTX 1650 Ti will also be released. Between themselves, video cards will differ in memory types. So, the younger model will offer 4 GB of GDDR5 memory, while the GTX 1650 Ti will be equipped with the same amount of faster GDDR6 memory. In both cases, a 128-bit bus will be used.
The Turing TU117 GPU will serve as the basis for each of the future video cards. Whether the GeForce GTX 1650 and GTX 1650 Ti graphics cards will differ in GPU configurations is currently unknown, but if they are, then not too much. The clock frequency of the GeForce GTX 1650 GPU will be 1395/1560 MHz.
As for the performance level of the GeForce GTX 1650, so far we can only judge it by the results of testing the video card in the Final Fantasy XV game benchmark. The new NVIDIA scored 3803 points here, which is higher than the Radeon RX 570 (3728 points) and slightly lower than the GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB (3901 points).
