The GhostBSD project creates a desktop-oriented operating system based on FreeBSD. The project has published a new version of GhostBSD 20.04, which fixes a number of installation and ZFS related issues during installation.
Innovations:
- Replaces gnome-mount and hald with FreeBSD devd and Vermaden automount, which make automatic external device mounting and unmounting more stable and support more file systems.
- Fixed option to force 4K ZFS to full install on ZFS HDD.
- Added 4k by default when creating a ZFS partition using the installer partition editor.
- Fixed pool cleanup when deleting a ZFS partition using the install partition editor.
- Fixed strange update manager loop.
- Fixed duplicate software repository configuration.
