Gigabyte has updated its Aorus 5 and Aorus 7 gaming laptops with the latest 5th Gen Intel Core H-series (Comet Lake-H) mobile processors. New items are called Aorus 7 vB and Aorus XNUMX vB, and they are still positioned as models of the middle price segment.
The Aorus 5 vB features a 15,6-inch Full HD IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and thin bezels. The Aorus 7 vB model, in turn, can offer a 17,3-inch screen with similar characteristics. Actually, the size and price are the only significant differences between the new products, because in terms of hardware, the laptops are the same.
Regardless of the modification, Aorus 5 vB and Aorus 7 vB are equipped with a six-core Core i7-10750H processor, which has frequencies of 2,6-5,0 GHz. An NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti, GTX 1660 Ti or RTX 2060 video card can serve as the basis for the graphics subsystem. The updated WindForce cooling system, which includes four copper heat pipes, is responsible for heat dissipation in the new products, which includes four copper heat pipes and is able to cope with the removal of more than 150 W of heat.
The amount of RAM DDR4-2666 or DDR4-2933 is 8, 16 or 32 GB, and the total system allows you to install up to 64 GB of RAM. The Aorus 5 vB and Aorus 7 vB have a 2,5-inch drive and two M.2 SSDs for storage. The volume of the data storage subsystem is not specified. We also note that laptops have an Intel AX200 module with support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Aorus 5 vB and Aorus 7 vB gaming laptops will be available soon. The cost of new products so far, unfortunately, is not specified, but it promises to be not too high.
