The head of CD Projekt RED promised employees "well compensated" for overtime in the creation of Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt RED CEO Adam Badowski in my microblog commented on the forced transition of the studio to a 6-day work week in anticipation of the imminent launch of Cyberpunk 2077.

The head of CD Projekt RED promised employees "well compensated" for overtime in the creation of Cyberpunk 2077

Recall, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, citing an anonymous employee сообщилthat Badovsky on September 28 warned workers about the introduction of mandatory but paid overtime for the coming weeks.

According to Badovsky, "the lion's share of the team understands the need for a final push," especially in light of the recent submission of Cyberpunk 2077 for certification to platformers.

β€œThis is one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made, but everyone will be well compensated for every hour invested. As in recent years, 10% of our annual income in 2020 will be distributed among team members,” Badovsky assured.

Π’ financial report for the first half of 2019, the Polish studio once again confirmed that it is no longer going to postpone the release of Cyberpunk 2077 and plans to be in time for the announced date - apparently, at any cost.

To date, the premiere of Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed twice: in January it became known that instead of 16 April hope to finish the game on September 17, and in June the release date was moved to 19 November.

On the appointed day, Cyberpunk 2077's single-player campaign is expected to be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and on the GeForce Now service. Versions for the next generation of consoles are also in the plans, but they will not have time to launch new devices.
