The head of Xbox went to Japan to discuss plans with publishers and studios for 2020

Spencer shared this on Twitter tonight. β€œIt's great to be back in Japan with the team to talk and hear about what the amazing studios and publishers are planning for 2020 and beyond. Very strong atmosphere and excitement for the future of gaming,” he wrote.

Back in March of last year, Spencer visited Japan and South Korea to talk with publishers about E3 2019. The exact results of these meetings are unknown, but after last year's trip, it was announced that Yakuza and Kingdom Hearts would be coming to Xbox One. Fans of the platform also hope that Spencer went to discuss the purchase of one of the famous companies like FromSoftware, SEGA or Nihon Falcom.

It's interesting to note that Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser is also in Japan right now.
