Frogwares studio has published a fresh gameplay trailer for the detective thriller The Sinking City. In it, the main character plunges into the rotten reality of the city of Oakmont.
In this trailer, private detective Charles W. Reed, suffering from bouts of madness, visits various parts of the city and sees things outside of our usual reality: ghosts and creatures that want to kill him. Rain and mud, which only worsen the picture of what is happening, do not help either.
The developers have also confirmed that they will demonstrate the final version of The Sinking City at E3 2019, which will be held from June 11 to 13 in Los Angeles, USA.
“The Sinking City is a detective thriller set in the universe created by Howard Phillips Lovecraft and his followers. Welcome to Oakmont, Massachusetts, a town suffering devastation caused by a supernatural flood,” the description reads. The game will go on sale on June 27, 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
