Wanting to perhaps hit hardest before launch, Electronic Arts kept Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order under wraps, so we saw surprisingly little action gameplay. That all changed earlier this week when the foreign press and influential media were invited to Anaheim to try out the project for themselves. They were invited to visit several planets, including Dathomir from the expanded universe.

These include the passage of Zepho, one of the earliest planets, a duel with the AT-ST, and a battle with the Ninth Sister, a major villain that has piqued the interest of Star Wars fans. It turned out that the complexity of the battles is one of the strongest elements of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Developer Respawn Entertainment clearly drew inspiration from Metroid Prime 3 and Dark Souls. According to USgamer journalist Kat Bailey (Kat Bailey), Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order feels like a mixture of these two games. The combat system, however, is most comparable to
Interestingly, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order also contains elements of FromSoftware games such as bonfires - meditation circles. In them you can relax, replenish your strength and upgrade your skills. But when you interact with the circle, all the enemies in the location come to life again.
Something else reminded Kat of God of War: the passage of puzzles. A lot of them. Some of the puzzles feel overly contrived, like "use force to stop the giant piston so you can skip." Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 15th.
