Players loved conquering the extreme Siberian off-road in MudRunner, released a couple of years ago, and last summer Saber Interactive announced a full-fledged sequel to this project. Then it was called MudRunner 2, and now, since instead of mud under the wheels there will be a lot of snow and ice, they decided to rename it SnowRunner.
According to the authors, the new part will be much more ambitious, large-scale and beautiful with "stunning" graphics, advanced physics and huge maps. They promise a large fleet of customizable heavy trucks from manufacturers such as Pacific, Navistar and others.
At launch, SnowRunner will offer over 15 new locations, some of them four times the size of the largest maps in MudRunner. “Cope with dangers like snowdrifts, ice, rivers and mud (each of which you need to find a special approach) to bring valuable cargo to the target as quickly as possible,” say the developers.
As before, it will be possible to suffer on clumsy SUVs not only alone, but also in co-op with three comrades. SnowRunner will be released next year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (exclusively on the Epic Games Store).
