Google is preparing a new Chromebook on the not yet presented Core i7-10610U

Intel doesn't seem to have unveiled all Comet Lake-U mobile processors yet. In the Geekbench 5 benchmark database, an entry was found about testing the Google Hatch system on an unreleased Core i7-10610U processor.

This processor has four cores and eight threads. The test determined that its base frequency is 4,9 GHz, but it is much more likely that the maximum Boost frequency was mistaken for the base frequency. Performance is rated at 1079 and 3240 points for single and multi-threaded workloads, respectively. Unfortunately, the test does not reveal more details about the Core i7-10610U processor.

However, the Google Hatch system itself is quite interesting. Based on the Core i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM, we can conclude that this is a device of the upper price segment, most likely a new high-end Chromebook from Google itself. This is also confirmed by Geekbench, which determined that Google Hatch runs on Android, and this test, as you know, determines the desktop Chrome OS that way.

According to unofficial data, Google is currently working on four models of Chromebooks based on Comet Lake-U processors at once. It is also reported that these systems can get displays with high resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio, as well as a number of other features that distinguish them from other Chromebooks.
