Now, network sources say that despite the cancellation of the event, Pixel 4a will be presented very soon and will go on sale in Europe at the end of May.
The source refers to data from internal documentation of the Vodafone operator in Germany. According to these documents, the device will be available in the retail network of the telecom operator on May 22. This indirectly means that Google can officially introduce the smartphone between May 12 and 14, because it was on these days that the Google I / O conference was supposed to take place.
It is assumed that the launch of the Pixel 4a will take place in the same way as in the case of the Pixel 4. Recall that the Pixel 4 smartphone manufacturer October 15 last year, immediately opening the possibility of pre-ordering. The first deliveries of the devices began on October 24, just 9 days after the presentation. If the information that the Pixel 4a will go on sale in Germany on May 22 is correct, then it may indeed be presented in the previously indicated time period.
It is worth noting that the operator Vodafone may start selling the Pixel 4a a few days later than other operators and stores. Even if this is true, the likelihood that by the end of May the new Google smartphone will be available for sale outside the US is quite high.
