We are talking about violations related to the failure to fulfill obligations to stop issuing information about information resources, access to which is limited on the territory of Russia.

Roskomnadzor specialists found out that the American search engine performs selective filtering of search results. Because of this, more than a third of links from the Unified Register of Prohibited Information are saved in the search.

In the middle of last summer, Roskomnadzor punished Google for 700 thousand rubles. This is the maximum possible amount of a fine: according to the law, for failure to comply with these requirements, legal entities are subject to administrative liability - a penalty in the amount of 500 to 700 thousand rubles.

The Russian department adds that the requirements of the current law have been repeatedly explained to representatives of Google. However, it was not possible to find a common language with the search engine earlier.
