The Android source repository hosts a version of the Gabeldorsh (GD) Bluetooth stack rewritten in Rust. Details about the project are not yet available, only assembly instructions are available. Rust also rewrites Android's Binder interprocess communication mechanism.
It is noteworthy that in parallel for the Fuchsia OS, another Bluetooth stack is being developed, for the development of which the Rust language is also used. Moreover, a new networking stack Netstack3 is written for Fuchsia in Rust.
