The Google development team announced the launch of an information platform www.google.com/covid19, which contains up-to-date and verified information about the COVID-19 pandemic.

The site provides up-to-date data from the World Health Organization, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, advice on prevention and protection against COVID-19, statistical information on the number of recorded coronavirus infections in different countries and regions of the world, as well as various Google resources that may be useful to users in conditions of forced self-isolation.

In addition, the company placed special banners and information panels in Google search results, a map service, and on the pages of the YouTube video portal.

Recall that earlier Google invested $6,5 million to fight misinformation about the coronavirus.
