FIFA 20 was the most played physical game in European countries (listed at the end of the article), and as a result, the football simulator took first place in the pre-Christmas week in Europe (in the UK, as we already wrote, this position has gone to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare).

When taking into account not only digital copies, but also sales on physical media, GTA V drops to 4th place, ahead of Luigi's Mansion 3 for Nintendo Switch (5th place). However, Nintendo doesn't share its digital sales figures, so its ghost-hunting game may actually rank higher.

There are quite a few other Switch titles in the top ten, including Mario Kart 8: Deluxe (#6), Pokemon Sword (No. 8) and Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo Olympic Games (No. 10). The cross-platform game Just Dance 2020, which is sold mainly on Switch, is ranked 7th. All of these projects could have performed better if digital copy sales were released.

Sane Trilogy at #16) broke into the top 4, placing alongside Spider-Man for PS14 (which had climbed to 22th from XNUMX the previous week).
