Network sources report that the world's first smartphone based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 665 hardware platform will debut in the near future.
The named chip contains eight computing cores Kryo 260 clocked at up to 2,0 GHz. The graphics subsystem uses the Adreno 610 accelerator.
The Snapdragon 665 processor includes an LTE Category 12 modem that provides download speeds up to 600 Mbps. The platform provides support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac Wave 2 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless communications. Devices based on Snapdragon 665 can be equipped with a camera with a resolution of up to 48 million pixels.
So, it is reported that the first smartphone based on Snapdragon 665 may debut as early as May 30, that is, this week. This device, according to rumors, may be the Meizu 16Xs model.
The Meizu 16Xs smartphone is credited with having a Full HD + display, 6 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of up to 128 GB. The device will receive support for Quick Charge 3.0 fast battery charging technology.
