Hackers cracked the latest version of Denuvo protection in Total War: Three Kingdoms

Total War: Three Kingdoms received patch 1.1.0 about a week ago. Thanks to this, its protection system has been updated to version 6.0. After it was hacked, hackers called Denuvo's protection dead, but did not specify what that means. The authors of DSO Gaming suggested that the attackers have found a way to hack any version of Denuvo, but today there are many games that have not yet been hacked.

Whether SEGA will remove protection from Total War: Three Kingdoms is still unknown. Previously, a number of publishers refused to use it in Hitman 2, RANGE 2 and other projects.

At the end of December 2018, the authors of the Overload Gaming channel held a detailed study of the Denuvo protection and found that it increases the loading time. It also causes image delay from 100 to 400 ms instead of the standard figure of 16,67 ms.
