Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human came out on Steam and disappointed players with a consolation discount

Like was promised, On June 18, with a difference of several hours, the premiere of Heavy Rain took place, Beyond: Two Souls и Detroit: Become Human from the French studio Quantic Dream in the digital distribution service Steam.

All three games will be 10% off within a week of release on Steam:

• Heavy Rain - 703 rubles (782 rubles excluding discounts);
• Beyond: Two Souls - 703 rubles (782 rubles);
• Detroit: Become Human - 1465 rubles (1628 rubles).

Despite the long-awaited release, users met the Steam versions of Quantic Dream games not too welcome. The reason is the size of the discount with which former Epic Games Store exclusives appear in the Valve digital store.

For comparison: Borderlands 3 released on Steam 50 percent discount, Metro Exodus - c 40 percent, Journey - with 25 percent (valid until July 9). Developers from Quantic Dream were the least generous.

Especially Steam users were outraged by the cost (even with the discount) of the adventure Detroit: Become Human - it is sold at twice the price of the other two games. Judging by discussion thread, many found this price unacceptable.

However, it will soon be possible to save big on buying goods in the Valve digital store: according to the creator of SteamDB Pavel Djundik, Steam Summer Sale will begin on June 25 and will last until July 9.
