Taiwanese HTC, whose smartphones were once very popular, is now in a very difficult situation. However, the company is not going to leave the cellular device market: according to network sources, a new model codenamed Bayamo is being prepared for release.
The device is said to debut on the commercial market under the name Desire 20 Pro. This will be a mid-level device, borrowing design features from models ΠΈ .
In particular, a multi-module main camera is mentioned, installed in the upper left corner on the rear panel of the case: the optical elements will be lined up vertically. The front camera will be located in a small hole in the screen. It is said that there is a 3,5 mm headphone jack.
A mysterious HTC smartphone with the code 2Q9J10000 has already been spotted in the popular benchmark GeekBench: presumably, this is the Desire 20 Pro model. The device carries an eight-core Qualcomm processor (possibly Snapdragon 660 or Snapdragon 665) and 6 GB of RAM. The Android 10 operating system is listed as the software platform.
There is no information yet about the approximate timing of the official presentation of Desire 20 Pro.
