The HP 22x and HP 24x monitors are based on TN-type panels, which have a diagonal of 21,5 and 23,8 inches, respectively. In both cases, the resolution is 1920 Γ— 1080 pixels, which corresponds to the Full HD format, and the refresh rate is 144 Hz. In addition to the high frequency, AMD FreeSync frame synchronization technology is supported here, and the older HP 24x also belongs to G-Sync Compatible monitors. The response time is declared at the level of 1 ms.

The HP 24x, on the other hand, can offer a static contrast ratio of 700:1 (typically 1000:1) and a maximum brightness of 250 nits. In both cases, the coverage of the NTSC color space is 72%. Viewing angles are typical for TN panels: 170 and 160 degrees horizontally and vertically, respectively.

On the rear panel of the HP 22x monitor, there is one HDMI 1.4 and D-Sub (VGA) connector each, while the HP 24x has DisplayPort 1.2 instead of the latter. The stand of the larger monitor allows you to adjust its angle, height and orientation (landscape or portrait), while the more compact model can only adjust the tilt.
