HP has announced the Elite Dragonfly convertible portable computer, designed primarily for business users.
The novelty received a 13,3-inch touch screen display that can be rotated 360 degrees to transfer the device to tablet mode. Buyers will be able to choose between Full HD (1920 Γ 1080 pixels) and 4K (3840 Γ 2160 pixels) versions. Optionally, a Sure View panel with βpeep protectionβ can be installed: the image on such a screen can only be seen by the one who is directly in front of it.
The βheartβ of the laptop is the eighth generation Intel Core processor (Core i5-8365U or Core i7-8665U). The amount of RAM is 8 GB or 16 GB. For data storage, an NVMe solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB is used.
The computer received a Wi-Fi 6, or 802.11ax, wireless adapter. Optionally, an LTE module will be installed to work in fourth-generation mobile networks.
We are talking about the presence of a high-quality Bang & Olufsen audio system, a 720p webcam, a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C / TB3 ports, USB Type-A 3.1 and HDMI 1.4.
Claimed battery life on a single battery charge reaches 24,5 hours. The laptop weighs a little less than a kilogram - 990 grams. Dimensions are 304,3 Γ 197,5 Γ 16,1 mm.
The HP Elite Dragonfly will go on sale in October starting at $1550. The operating system is Windows 10.
